In the last 20 years, El Salvador has had a stagnation in job creation. With a young population among its 6.7 million inhabitants, it should be generating more than 100,000 formal jobs annually, however, barely 8,000 pass. As a result of this stagnation, we have over 60,000 Salvadorans who annually emigrate and illegally enter the United States especially. With exports below the percapita average of the region, 50% of these are in the textile cluster, being an item that is characterized by low wages and accepts population without education. The last 10 years, Larry and Rodrigo have had the initiative to educate the employees of the company that Rodrigo managed and owned by Larry. This is how in the last 4 years they have been able to graduate in technical engineering careers about 250 employees in the branches of Electronics, Mechanics, Biomedics and software development. With such a large group of educated people, both now join forces to bring the Biomedical cluster to the country, first supplying parts of the free zone market in Costa Rica in the textile biomedical branch and then the plastic division. We believe that El Salvador has a healthy and hardworking workforce, opening a new cluster far superior to textiles will bring thousands of jobs that the country needs.
